So I am pretty excited to be creating a path of 'Travel Wanderlust' for your eyes and also a list of places to have my Novella-Ria collection photoshoots. First stop...

It is a place called Cuba.
Arriving in Cuba is like arriving in 1959. As you step out of the airport and into a pristinely kept Chevrolet Bel Air it feels less like taking a taxi and more like a chauffeur driven joy ride.
The surreal nature of this country frozen in time only becomes more striking as you wander the cobblestone streets of La Habana Vieja (Old Havana). This neighbourhood evokes an undeniable romance, with its ornate facades in every shade of pastel beautifully crumbling before your eyes, dilapidated doorways which invite you to discover the grand courtyards hidden within and laneways dotted with charming stores showcasing everything from local art to naturally made skin care products and perfumes.
It is impossible to talk about Cuba without mentioning Che Guevara. The face of the instrumental revolutionary graces the covers of books, is printed on T-shirts and is plastered on the walls of every corner of every block as far as the eye can see.
Another unimaginable concept would be to leave Havana without a quest to find the finest Mojito. With incredible live music in almost every bar in town it is easy to spend an evening (or two or three) bar hopping and taste testing as many cocktails as your heart desires.
This insight into Havana is only an introduction to Cuba, a country rich in culture and natural beauty, full of passion and with so much to offer... it needs to be experienced to be understood.
